Buses
Buses are increasingly popular for getting to the city...
arriving at 'Terminal Bus' station in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, both from fairly close areas such as Canavese, the Aosta Valley and Milan Malpensa Airport, and as an economical alternative to flying for those coming from abroad. On reaching the Turin area, the bus is one of the most used forms of transport not just for getting to places where trains don't go but also because of services made specifically for tourists. The cross-border shuttle services connecting Val Susa with locations in France: the Bardonecchia-Valle Stretta, Briançon-Nevache-Bardonecchia, Susa-Moncenisio-Lanslebourg and Oulx-Briançon lines form an efficient and highly valued network.
Similarly useful is the direct connection between the airport and the main ski resorts of the province: Oulx, Bardonecchia, Cesana, Sestriere and Pragelato are reached by a line operative at weekends.
