2 Giorni in Minibus, Tour Speciale Weekend alla Festa del Vino di Alba

Visit cellars and castles, enjoy the views of the hills, and then stroll around the town tasting the wines of the Alba Wine Festival During the Wine Festival, the Historical Center of Alba becomes, for a Sunday afternoon, a ’wine route’ in which the producers will present their productions on the tasting tables, in a unique tasting experience (over 700 wines in the 2018 edition ).

Now in its twenty-first edition, the Wine Festival offers one more reason to visit the beautiful town of Alba and the Langhe, and we are here for this.

We will leave Turin on the morning of Saturday, September 28th, and we will reach the Barolo Langhe, in the typical area of this fine wine, made of geometric hills and characteristic villages. We will visit a winery and taste the wine directly from the wine maker. Monforte, Barolo, La Morra, are the most famous places in these areas, and we will visit them leisurely, and then move to the Barbaresco area: Neive, Treiso, Barbaresco.

On Sunday morning the Castle of Grinzane Cavour awaits us, home of the World Truffle Auction and the former home of Count Camillo Benso, a great statesman protagonist of the years after the Unification of Italy. We will visit the rooms where the Langhe museum is set up and where many Cavourian memorabilia are kept. After lunch we will move to Alba for the afternoon of the Wine Festival. bit.ly/AlbaWineFestival
