CAPA IN COLOR

CULTURE & TRADITION
-
CAPA IN COLOR Curated by the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York, it presents Robert Capa’s colour photographs to the public for the first time.
Despite being known internationally almost exclusively as the author of black and white photography, Capa began working regularly with colour as early as 1941 and continued until his death in 1954.
Although some photographs were published in newspapers at the time, most of these images were never gathered in a single collection.
The exhibition displays over 150 colour images, as well as personal letters and notes from the magazines in which they were published.
