CESARE FERRO MILONE. MAGIA DEL COLORE TRA TORINO E BANGKOK

CULTURE & TRADITION
-

The exhibition dedicated to Cesare Ferro Milone is the third round in the cycle “The Masters of the Albertina Academy”, after the reviews on Andrea Gastaldi in 2016 and Giacomo Grosso in the period 2017-2018. The artist’s work is on display in three institutional locations: the Accorsi-Ometto Museum and the Pinacoteca of the Albertina Academy in Turin and the “Arnaldo Tazzetti” Alpine Civic Museum in Usseglio. The exhibition aims to investigate and explore the different aspects of the pictorial experience of the Piedmontese artist, who worked assiduously between the end of the nineteenth century and the first thirty years of the twentieth century; to reconstruct the artist’s teaching activity at the Albertina Academy and the period in which he was its president; to delineate his development and his participation in major international events, such as the Venice Biennale; to reflect on the decorations of the Royal Palace and the princely Norashing Palace in Bangkok, which the artist did during his stays in Siam in 1904 and 1923.
