The exhibition presents two masterpieces of the Cerruti Collection to the public: “Madonna and Child” (1516 ca.) by Leonardo’s pupil Marco d’Oggiono (visible to the public until November 3) and “Untitled (La Gioconda)” by Gino De Dominicis (1947-1998). Through them the legacy of Leonardo and the uninterrupted fortune of his work are told: from the legacy of inventions to his workshop and his most trusted students to contemporary influences, demonstrating how, also in today’s art, artists continue to compare themselves with his work.

The exhibition D’après Leonardo will be extended to January 5, 2020 in a modified form. An additional painting (that is not part of the Cerruti Collection) that could be the famous Salvator Mundi by Leonardo da Vinci will be added.
