The educational/documentary exhibition tells and contextualizes the story of Luigi Palma di Cesnola (Rivarolo Canavese 1832 - New York 1904), who after the American Civil War was appointed American consul to the island of Cyprus, where he carried out an intense activity of excavation. He was the first director of the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The exhibition is connected to the one promoted by the Royal Museums in Torino "CIPRO.CROCEVIA DELLE CIVILTÀ".
