XXXVIII D'INVERNO SUL PO - GARA INTERNAZIONALE DI FONDO

Since 1983, the Società Canottieri Esperia-Torino continues its traditional international long-distance rowing regatta entitled “Winter on the River Po” for boats 1x, 2x, 2x mixed, 2-, 4x mixed and 8+ mixed (4 men and 4 women). An unmissable appointment that is part of the federal circuit of the cross-country skiing championship: the awaited endurance competition, third in the world for its type, after Boston’s Charles Head of the River (4800 m) and London’s Head on the River (6800m).
All athletes from the following categories can participate: Novice B1 and B2 (1000 m.), Novice C, Cadets, Young, Junior, Senior, Master and Pararowing.
The regatta takes place within the picturesque frame of the parks of Torino, between the hills and the historical city centre, on a 5,000-metre race course: it’s a timed race, with departures every 20 seconds.
