On 20 June 2024 opens at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Il peut pleurer du ciel, the solo exhibition by Binta Diaw (Milan, 1995), curated by Ilaria Bernardi.
The project is conceived as a multi-sensory immersion that addresses the complex issue of migration and its history between two continents: Africa and Europe. An urgent current political and economic issue, migration is also a profound philosophical theme in which identity, cultural heritage and imagination are intertwined.
