CATY TORTA. UN'ARTISTA LIBERA

CULTURE & TRADITION
-
A monographic exhibition dedicated to Caty Torta, the artist, and the woman who, for her time, was capable of interpreting "ordinary" roles with a free and innovative spirit.

A selection of 16 works, archives and sketches belonging to her son’s private collection will be displayed together with some of the sports cars that accompanied her during "races" and in life. An exhibition itinerary articulated between the pivotal experiences of Caty’s research: the Mille Miglia, Casorati, the Turin avant-garde and Paris, through the evolution of her pictorial sign, from her training to her artistic maturity. Nonconformist and modern, Caty Torta is today still a model of emancipation and determination capable of transmitting her unconditional love of Freedom.
