CULTURE & TRADITION

The National Cinema Museum presents the first major exhibition dedicated to the creative genius of Stefano Bessoni, director, illustrator and animator. More than 150 works on display - mostly from Bessoni’s private archive and from the Cinema Museum’s collections - tell the story of the areas in which his expressive research moves: from fairy tales to the world of science, from illustrations to stop-motion animation and puppet making, up to his great love for cinema.
Between the fantastic and the fairy-tale, in a path populated by puppets, illustrations, films, artefacts and scientific preparations, we find ourselves immersed in Stefano Bessoni’s world, a fascinating Wunderkammer inside the most majestic and imposing of Turin’s ’Chambers of Wonders’, the Mole Antonelliana.
