In the summer of 1994 Novecento, written by Alessandro Baricco for an actor, Eugenio Allegri, and a director, Gabriele Vacis, premiered at AstiTeatro.
Since that summer and for the rest of his life Allegri has followed the show with the same love as the first time throughout theatres all over Europe.
Thirty years after the monologue’s debut and two years after his death, a choral reading directed by Gabriele Vacis comes to the stage, enriched with memories and stories of a show that made the history of Italian theatre.
