In the second half of the last century, begins the journey that leads to women’s emancipation from theory to mass participation. A struggle, that of women, conducted in a new and autonomous way, outside the protection of traditional parties, linked to specific demands that, starting from the everyday, have given substance to the action and involved the whole of society. Torino and women. Small and big stories from the Middle Ages to today, an exhibition with over 250 photographs and documents, illustrates the political and social battles (the right to vote, equality at work, war, Resistance ...) but also women in art, literature and science, in the family and in schools, in sports and entertainment.
