The Pistono Lake Archaeological Park in Montalto Dora reopens after the summer break.
Through full-scale reconstructions of living structures, descriptive panels and exhibits in the museum room, it tells the story of the area’s prehistory with a focus on the Neolithic site identified on the shores of the lake.
The activity, lasting about 2 hours, includes a guided tour with an archaeologist to the exhibition space and a pleasant and easy walk (about 25 minutes) along the vineyard road to reach the open-air reconstructions on the shores of Lake Pistono.
You can complete the day on the shores of the lake or with a visit to the Terre Ballerine.
