Moncalieri as you have never seen it!
Every third Saturday of the month, a unique opportunity to get to know a town with almost two thousand years of history: the imposing Castle with its park - Royal Residence, UNESCO World Heritage Site and now partly home to the I Battaglione Carabinieri "Piemonte" - , the historic centre with its pedestrian streets, the Porta Navina where the "Proclamation of Moncalieri" signed by King Victor Emmanuel II is remembered... and why is the statue of Neptune called "Saturnio"?
Visits will resume from 18 March 2023 in Italian/English.
Visits are organised in collaboration with Theatrum Sabaudiae.
Comfortable footwear is recommended.
