Itinerary of over 100 km to discover the Val Chisone and Pinerolo area.
Starting from Pragelato we descend down the valley to Pourrieres; deviating northwards, you ascend an asphalt road to Pian dell’Alpe and, on a dirt road, follow the road on the south-facing side. With a slight detour you can summit the Colle delle Finestre, with its splendid views of the Susa and Chisone valleys and the Rocciamelone massif.
Continuing northwards, with a change of direction, a dirt road will take you to the Rifugio Selleries and, returning to the main route down to Fenestrelle. Here a visit to the fort of the same name and witness to important historical events, is not to be missed.
Continue down on an asphalt road diverting towards Pomaretto and climb up the Germanasca Valley to Chiotti. From here ascend to Colle di Lazzarà - at a certain point the route switches to dirt road - and then continue down to Pramollo before ascending to Colle della Vaccera and on to Torre Pellice via some dirt roads. The return to Pragelato is on asphalt roads along the valley floor.
