LAGO DI VIVERONE

Lake Viverone, whose waters have yielded pile dwellings dating back to the Bronze Age, is located at the meeting point of the three provinces of Biella, Turin and Vercelli; with its 55 square kilometres, it is the largest lake basin within the large morainic amphitheatre of Ivrea.
