Exhibition, performance and workshop by Mikhail Karikis, which rethink the destiny of Larderello (Pisa), home of the first geothermal power plant and today a territory that is disfigured by industrial obsolescence.

At the centre of his most recent works, in fact, there are the themes of exploitation at the place of work, the industrial landscape and the effects of globalization on local communities.

The video was shot in the area of the “Valle del Diavolo” in Toscana, known for having inspired the descriptions of Dante’s Inferno: 45 children take over the depopulated sites turning the wasteland into an amphitheatre, a playground and a self-organized school at the same time.
