This itinerary leads us to discover a not very touristy but very important area on the orographic left of the Dora Baltea. We will start walking from the small mountain hamlet of Trovinasse, administratively belonging to the Municipality of Settimo Vittone, in the province of Turin, we will reach two important hills and we will cross an area rich in history as an interval communication route between the provinces of Aosta, Biella and Turin . The highest and most panoramic point of the excursion is the Colma di Mombarone, 2,371 m., from which, on clear days, you can admire a 360 ° panorama, from Monte Rosa to the Turin hills.
