PONTE TIBETANO CESANA CLAVIERE

Between Cesana Torinese and Claviere, in the San Gervasio gorges, in a natural landscape of exceptional beauty for its environmental, naturalistic and geological peculiarities, it is possible to experience the thrill of crossing the Tibetan bridge, one of the longest in the world.

 

The walkway is 544 metres long and consists of a succession of three bridges over the Piccola Dora stream at a height of about 70 metres from the ground, the first bridge, at a height of 30 metres, the second bridge, and at a height of about 90 metres, the last bridge.

 

The chalet is at the entrance to Claviere coming from Cesana Torinese at the first roundabout. From the chalet, a downhill path in the direction of the San Gervasio chapel leads in 15 minutes to the start of the bridge. Average travelling time of the bridges: 1 hour 30 minutes
