The 101st edition of Giro d’Italia bicycle championship will start off for the first time outside European confines; In fact on Friday, 4 May, the start will be an individual stopwatch race of 9.7 km in Jerusalem for a leg dedicated to Gino Bartali, whose name is impressed on the wall of honor of the Garden of the Just in the Yad Vashem Memorial Mausoleum.
On Friday, 25 May, there will be the big leg with 4 Grand Mountain Prizes: starting line at Venaria Reale, then the Lys Hill and Colle delle Finestre (Coppi Peak), Sestriere, Bardonecchia.
On Saturday, 26 May, the last leg of the grand mountain prize will be held with an altitude of 4,500 m in only three climbs: starting line at Susa and, after crossing the Canavese, finish line in Cervinia.
