The Torino School of Italian for Foreigners is part of the Dante Alighieri Society, created in 1889 by a group of intellectuals led by Giosuè Carducci to protect and spread the Italian language and culture around the world. The aim of these intellectuals was to reviving the spiritual ties of fellow countrymen abroad with the motherland and nurturing in foreigners the love for Italian civilization. The school in Torino has ancient roots, but a young beating heart in the center of the city. We welcome people from all over the world by offering language courses, workshops, cultural and recreational activities, guided tours and everything you need to experience Torino and the region of Piemonte completely. The School is also a Plida certification center and allows students to take the language exams necessary to study in Italian universities and obtain the Italian citizenship.
