The itinerary connects the Basilica of Superga with the Sanctuary of Crea, passing through the Canonica di Vezzolano. In 64 km of route you pass between the villages and the vineyards of the hills of Torino and Monferrato. The route was designed by a member of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) of Casale Monferrato, Cesare Triveri, who traveled it for the first time in 1990, along with a group of hikers. Subsequently, the CAI redeveloped the route with as many as 130 hikers in 2000, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary, recurrence in which the Superga-Crea was named after its creator.
