TEATRO GIACOSA

Civic Theatre named after the famous Canavese writer ena playwright Giuseppe Giacosa. The theatre was designed by tha architect Maurizio Storero and built from 1833 to 1834 following the distructions of Sant’Agostino’s convent. The neoclassic façade has a wide triangular fronton painted with the city coat of arms, while the inside is in the style aof the period, with a stage surrounded by three rows of boxes and by the gallery.
