Immersed in the Pinerolo countryside, the town is located at the foot of an impressive fortress. In the Natural Park of the Rocca of Cavour you can visit the Benedictine Abbey of Santa Maria from the 11th century and the Archaeological Museum of Caburrum.

Its gastronomic tradition is well known for the use of typical local products thanks to the many farms distributed throughout the territory that grow cereals, apples and the breeding farms specialised in "Razza Piemontese" cattle. There are two major annual events: Cavour Carne di razza piemontese in April and Tuttomele in November.
