Una giornata in mountain bike sulla Serra di Ivrea

The paths of the Morainic Amphitheater from Ivrea to the crest of the hill, and then down to Lake Viverone

It is the left lateral moraine of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea. Or, more simply: the Serra, “the greenhouse” Part of the legacy of the Balteo Glacier, this hill is more than 600m high and almost 25km long and it is one of the most majestic and best preserved formations of the type in the world.

Historical destination of the sorties of local motorcyclists, who were looking for the curves and views of the Broglina State road that connects Ivrea and Biella, is crossed by hundreds of kilometers of paths and dirt roads practicable all year round and in any weather conditions

During our day trip we will start from Ivrea, then climb all the way to the top, and then start a long and super fun descent to the Lake of Viverone After having lunch by the lake, we will return to the starting point, still following secondary roads and dirt roads, this time more on the plain.

This tour is designed for bikers who like to ride immersed in nature, along less traveled roads and paths, alternating fun trails where you can just let the bike go with challenging uphills.

For this tour there are both guaranteed departures for small groups of maximum 8 people and private tours on demand. See the calendar or request your private tour: bit.ly/MtbAmi
