On the tables of Turin and its province, traditional dishes and ancient local specialities are the undisputed leaders of a tradition that is more alive than ever.
All year round, but expecially in the autumn months, the Torinese culinary tradition offers five of its most famous and delicious main courses: 

brasato al vino rosso, a pot roast stewed in a local red wine, preferably Carema or Barolo 
coniglio rabbit, in its variations: "al civet", with local peppers or aromatic herbs 
caponét Savoy cabbage leaves stuffed with meat 
funghi porcini fritti (fried porcini mushrooms) 
fricandò meat stew with vegetables 

But it doesn't end there! A part from the appetisers, in the participating establishments you can also find famous first courses (such as agnolotti ravioli), great classics (including the finanziera stew) and end with a delicious dessert (perhaps a bonet…).
