VIALATTEA

Ski Area
The Vialattea ski area combines the resorts of Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, Claviere, Cesana Torinese, Sansicario, Pragelato, Oulx and the French resort of Mongènevre.
The 400 km of runs served by modern lifting systems and an altitude of up to 2,800 m ensure this is a very varied area suitable both for expert skiers and for beginners, where the difficulties range from the steep slopes of the Banchetta to the sinuous runs of Sansicario, immersed in larch forests.
The two core elements of the ski area are Mount Fraiteve which joins Sestriere with Sauze d’Oulx and Sansicario and the Monti della Luna along which lie the Cesa Torinese, Claviere and Mongènevre runs. The Sestriere and Sansicario slopes were the setting for the competitions of the Olympic Games of Torino 2006 and for many other international ski competitions, continuing to host world-class athletes every year.
Snowboard and freestyle enthusiasts have four snow parks available to try out drop and rail techniques.
