Sanctuary
Constructed between 1622 and 1642, the Sanctuary lies on the shores of Lake Grande of Avigliana, in the very place where there once existed a shrine, a site of pilgrimage as early as the 14th century. Originally assigned to the Capuchin Order, in 1892 the Church passed into the hands of the Salesians. Inside you can find paintings by various artists, including the Gorious Assumption of Mary attributed to Galliari and a polyptych of the Annunciation, probably by Defendente Ferrari.
