CAR CRASH. PIERO GILARDI E L’ARTE POVERA

The exhibition investigates the artist’s production during the 1960s: from the foundation and support for the development of arte povera and his involvement in the creation of the Deposito d’Arte Presente in Torino (1967-1969), to his definitive enfranchisement from the movement with the exhibition Arte povera più azioni povere at the Arsenals in Amalfi (1968).

Car Crash explores Gilardi’s multifaceted research starting from the dynamic experience of Piper Club with the exhibition of Tappeti natura inside the Torino’s club in January 1967.
