EDOARDO SANGUINETI NELLA CITTÀ “CRUCIVERBA”

An exhibition that draws mainly on the funds of the Centro Studi Interuniversitario Edoardo Sanguineti: interacting with these documents are some lexicographic entries from the Fondo esempi letterari (scraps and splices) of the Grande Dizionario della Lingua Italiana, in which Sanguineti participated, thanks to the fundamental mediation of his friend Tullio De Mauro, as director of the Supplementi.

It will be possible to admire for the first time some very recent finds from the early days of Sanguineti’s career as a poet: the manuscript of Composizione, a collection submitted and rejected in February 1950 to Cesare Pavese, two drafts of Laszo Varga and the final manuscript of Laborintus.
