EXPOSED. PAOLO PELLION DI PERSANO. LA SEMPLICE STORIA DI UN FOTOGRAFO + EXPANDED WITH

For the first time, the exhibition brings together a large corpus of Paolo Pellion di Persano’s photographs, including many previously unpublished ones, restoring an extraordinary narrative in which the artistic vitality of Torino and its territory plays a leading role.

The exhibition examines the author’s activity starting from his beginnings in the 1970s, identifying thematic nuclei that punctuate his work: his travels, the social ferments of the period, the developments of Arte Povera, his work for fashion and his interest in theatre. A further section is devoted to the long relationship between Pellion and the Castello di Rivoli. The project is supported by Strategia Fotografia 2023, promoted by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
