FESTIVAL DELLO SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE A IVREA

Ivrea will be the setting for the opening day of the SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FESTIVAL.

On 7 May Ivrea will be the first stage of the ASVIS Sustainable Development Festival: this will consist of 17 days (as many as the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030) of events, shows and meetings dedicated to sustainability at 360° throughout Italy.

The inaugural event entitled ’Looking to the future to change the present: businesses and finance facing the challenge of sustainability’ will be hosted by the city of Ivrea at Officine H.

The event will analyse both the potential obstacles that still prevent the full integration of sustainability in industrial policies and business choices, and the good practices and concrete solutions already present in the Italian economy that enable companies to create new forms of economic, but also environmental and social value. Protagonists from politics, the business world and civil society will discuss the various issues, also with the aim of developing concrete proposals to enable our country to accelerate the transition towards sustainability across the board and reap the economic, social and environmental benefits that derive from it.
