From 7 April to 9 July 2023, in the magical atmosphere of the Royal Library of Turin, visitors will be able to follow the gripping journey of Leonardo’s life along the plot of the events, characters and places that marked the salient moments in the artist’s history and the history of the Italian and European Renaissance. The events are evoked by illuminated manuscripts, ancient books, rare incunabula, ancient maps and drawings by the great protagonists of the Italian Renaissance, including Perugino and Michelangelo. Precious and rarely exhibited works, a tale intertwined with that of Leonardo’s life and artistic production, summarised in the thirteen drawings owned by the Royal Library and the Codex on the Flight of Birds.
From 7 to 16 April, access is permitted only by guided tour for groups of a maximum of 25 visitors each.
Tickets can be purchased online, at the Royal Museums ticket office and from 7 April also at the Royal Library, or by writing to: info.torino@coopculture.it.
