Gino Bartali and his wife Adriana recount the origins of a fragile and beautiful country, the truest and smallest Italy. Twenty years of Italian history and intimate history intertwine within one man, a champion but also a silent hero. Adriana and Gino, played by Federica Molteni, tell about us, about our past, but pose questions about the present. And about the future.
