The music and lyrics are by Tony Award winners and Oscar nominees Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, the libretto by Tony award-winner Thomas Meehan, adapted from the acclaimed Oscar-nominated screenplay by Sylvester Stallone, himself among the show’s writers.
