Why was or is Torino world famous? As well as being the first capital of Italy, the World Cup, the Universiade, the Winter Olympics, the ATP Finals, the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France have all passed through here. The exhibition at the Historical Archives celebrates Torino as the scene of important international events, also displaying rare documents from the first Giro in 1909 and period photographs.
