MURAZZI SUL PO

Nightlife
Until the 1950s, the Murazzi on the Po were the landing places and arched boathouses for fishing boats on the west bank of the Po, near Torino’s historical centre: the origin of the name is linked to the imposing embankments (walls) built in the 19th century to protect the city from the river’s floods.

Subsequently, they became one of the most important venues for Torino’s movida and youth gatherings, even achieving international fame.

Apericenes, dinners, cocktails and music in company: all a stone’s throw from the splendid Piazza Vittorio Veneto and with a magical view of the river!

The sections of the Murazzi to the north and south of Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I are respectively dedicated to the Torino singer-songwriters Fred Buscaglione and Gipo Farassino.
