In our mountains, in the conca of Bardonecchia, traces of the military works built in the Vallo Alpino defence system dating back to the 1930s are still visible.
Although some are now very damaged and in many cases it is forbidden to enter inside, they can be a destination for walks or mountain bike rides to admire the environment where they were built for an excursion into our recent history.
